T-38 Erection Manual - Anyone have a copy?

Fri Dec 20, 2013 1:16 am

In the process of reassembling our T-38 and we have to reattach alot of parts including the wings. I cant seem to find the manuals anywhere. Please PM me if you have a set we could borrow or can help us our with a few pages scanned in .

Were still looking for a nose gear, hitting all dead ends. Does anyone know if the gear is the same as the F-5?

In another thread it was said that John Dilley of Fort Wayne Air Service was involved in the build up another T-38 ... it's possible they could assist.

Well we have one for the Corsair , the H-19 etc Unless they changed the terminology. I just need to see how you re-install the wings and tail section on the plane...

The structural repair manual is where that type of information is these days.
Not much of a chance of you getting a factory fresh aircraft that you need
to assemble as was the case in the 20's, 30's and 40's.

At the Ft Worth Air Museum we put together an F-5E which should be similar if
not the same. Ours came with no instructions and it is not to difficult to figure out.
Here is a job aid I made up for our team.
