Stalingrad 2013

Here is another opportunity for Hollywood to hopefully show some warbirds! Let's hope they don't mess it up with too much CGI like they did with Redtails. Awe who am I kidding, it's a movie.

And so few seem to recall the great contribution that Canadian Forces made in that epic battle....witness the post 1965 modern Canadian Flag flying in the pan shot at 1:22

And yet the Il-76 doesn't bother you enough to mention? I'm thinking we are having some before/after flashback stuff going on. That would explain the RORO container, the modern tent and rescue van as well.

I'm getting the impression that the IL and Canadian flags are part of some modern scenes at the start of the movie that cause a transition back to the battle. It does look like an interesting movie. Only seeing the whole thing will tell its historical accuracy. Then again, I don't think the problems with accuracy kept Enemy at the Gates hurt it still being a decent movie.
