Anyone on the forum with knowledge of Waco in the 1960's?

Well TJ, there was a great restaurant at the overpasses called
the "Chicken Shack". When I located to Houston 5 years ago I was
surprised to see the old neon "Chicken Shack" sign at Pe-Te's Cajun
outside the Ellington gate....but I have a feeling you were interested in
sumpthin' else.

What would you like to know?

Will keep that in mind when next going by Pe-Te's Cajun...

Actually what I'm interested in is further information about a Milford "Buddy" Bostick who owned a P-51D (N8676E) between 1960-66. I have tried to get hold of him to find out about his operation of this a/c. Any help in regard to this would be great!

I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but PeTe's has closed its doors

Just bumping this one in the hope that some new members from the lone star state might have joined us, and have the info I'm looking for!

Sorry TJ, I got zilch with my enquiries about Milford Bostick. The only
enlightenment I can bring you involves Pe-Te's Cajun...it remains open
in a new guise as 'The Cajun Roadhouse", pretty much the same menu
and all the astronaut memoribilia is still there.

ps
..and the "Chicken Shack" neon is gone..my history is slipping away...

PeTe retired and sold it...it's reopened as Airnutz stated. Nothing has changed.

As for Buddy Bostick, I remember the name. Best person to check with is Joe Nemer. Joe runs and flies Spirit of Waco with the CAF.
