Got back late after an aerial photography mission, but had a little time to shoot these.

Awesome! Thanks for posting. We're spoiled with all the Collings pictures from the dedicated crew. But its sad we don't also have someone from the Liberty Belle / Memphis Belle crew thats as much of a shutterbug!

Nice airplane photos, but what I found remarkable is all that bare pavement....

Lets see, Texas currently has four B-17's, two B-24's, and the B-29. Boy wouldn't it be cool if they formed up for a photo flight?

Why???? are the movie Belle and CAF Mustang together? Are they touring the country, doesn't look like any kind of monies were being taken for tours etc.

The CAF Mustang is touring with the movie Belle. Our normal routine is to arrive in a city on Monday and do press/media rides. Then, the airplane sits most of the week until the weekend, when we do our flights and ground tours. Then it's off to the next city either on Sunday afternoon or Monday morning, when the process starts over. That is why no one was around this week. Sometimes, we use the week to do maintenance, but that doesn't happen every week.
