Alright....time for some good news....we have a NEW CORSAIR Flying in the United States, based out of South Carolina...I don't have a ton of info on it other than it came from New Zealand and is owned by a guy named Barry Avent....here it is on its first flight back on Feb 7th of this year....LOOKING FOR MORE INFO it you guys have it!!

Yes, overall dark blue with no national insignia. Final scheme is as yet undetermined, however I am trying to push him toward its original RNZAF colours.
Bit about the first flight/history and current photo in the next issue....

Did I really write 'SOUTH Carolina' in my post? Sorry, not my intent...it is in North Carolina.....and there are pics circulating and I have a few but have been requested to sit on them until Barry does a public announcement sometime in the future from what I hear.....just imagine a blue Corsair with no markings and you know what it looks like. But it will be nice to see this bird flying and hopefully doing some airshows.

Congrats to the owner and all involved in her rebirth. So wonderful to hear of a second RNZAF Corsair airborne. Bravo!
