I think there is a place to type in the registration number of an airplane to find out what info the FAA has on a particular airplane. Anyone know what the URL is. Thought I'd check here first before spending too much time at work trying to dig through the FAA website. Here's the N number I'm curious about- N328KF . Yeah, it's SpaceShip One. Just wondered what the FAA has it listed as.

Here's a direct link to the entry in the registry.
www.Google.com is set up to look up an N-number directly from the registry.
http://162.58.35.241/acdatabase/NNumSQL ... rtxt=328kf - This is the actual entry.
http://registry.faa.gov/ - This is the portal to the registry.

www.landings.com has a database search also. You can look up any country.

Another option is to type in an N-number in google and one of the first options in the results is a FAA lookup
