A tribute to the heroes of D-day...tomorrow 70 years ago. This former Aeronavale C-47 rests in the Airborne museum of the famous village of Saint Mere Eglise in France Coded D8-Z c/n 19288 Former Danish AF C47, 42-100825 became OY-DDA,Sven Viking , N9984F,N50V, F-YFGN now displayed at Musée des Troupes Aéroportées Sainte-Mère l'Église in false serial "315159"

An amazing battle was fought on the Normandy beaches 70 years ago. Let us never forget the sacrifices made to make that day a success.
