Good article Moreno. Found another similar BBC article with some more detail about the challenges with the citric acid used to remove the encrustation http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-27768464

It's suprising there aren't many pictures on the internet showing more recent progress. It appears the process is working very well, and you'd think they'd want to show more of their good work, but Good 'ol British stiffiness/bureaucracy at work I guess.
