Hi Guys, I’m posting this story for Ray Anderson. It’s kind of cool.
June 23 marks the 70Th anniversary on Lt. David Kingsley earning the Congressional Medal of Honor. He gave up his parachute to the wounded tail gunner and went down with the crippled B-17F O PISSONYA. My father Ed Anderson was the pilot . I consider myself very fortunate to have grown up around heroes such as these men. Please Google Kingsley-Ploesti for more info on this story.
