Alan Carey's 'Night Cats & Corsairs' and F-82 books

Fri Jul 18, 2014 3:01 am

Just a quick "WIX works!" note to let the WIX brain know that my review copies of WIX member Alan C Carey's Night Cats & Corsairs and Twin Mustang, the North American F-82 at War arrived yesterday.

Big thanks to Alan for his help with that, and the article we are running in the next issue of Australia's Flightpath magazine.

Fast though I am, I've not read them yet, but I can say the Night Cats is a VERY impressive, detailed work, and the bits I've dipped into are fascinating.

The F-82 book is a much lighter work, but as a photo book, which is what it's meant to be, contains some equally fascinating material.

Both highly recommended, and no surprise to see some WIX stalwart names in both too, but good to so see.

So support a good WIX member and get his excellent books, I recommend through the publisher (links above) or 'your local bookshop' (always worth supporting) or via the recommended WIX method via the click-throughs...

Regards,
