50 Cal Feed Tray

I have this 50 cal Feed Tray that was supposed to come from an RAF Mustang 3. It is stainless and spot welded.

I can see several variants of feed tray on the early P-51 marks with the flexible style for the P-51D onwards.

I see similar (round holes) on the P-47 feed tray

It is quite long - 80 cm on the bottom ( non window) layer and 70 cm on the top layer.

It came with a string of empty 50 cal bullets that fit perfectly - so not any other calibre.

Can anyone confirm what it is from and any pictures in -situ ?

Looks very similar in design to the P40 ammunition magazine transfer tray from the ammo can to gun..

As found next to Coppings machine and as shown here:
