Mine was a shirt with black splatters and drips all over the front, it had the following printed on it,
How did you know I had a Radial Engine ?

another was for my GF, it was a pair of radial engine jugs on the front, and a cessna 195 tail on the back,
It said on the front, "a great pair of Jugs", and on the back, "A well Rounded Tail"

One with a B-25 on it, no idea where it came from, old girlfriend got it for me. But it has a pocket, which is why it's the only aviation t-shirt I own.

How on earth do people get on with shirts without pockets??? I used to require the pocket for a pack of cigs, and now (since March 2007 thank god) require the pocket for geezer glasses.

My sentimental favorite would have to be this 'Briefing Time' shirt my Dad picked up for me at a show back in the early-mid 1980s. Can't see it too clearly in this photo, but enough that some of you may recognize it. I didn't like the shirt so much as the B-25 itself... it was one of my favorite warbirds as a kid... and not just because of the pinup. Even at that age, I had an eye for authenticity in restorations, and 'Briefing Time' just looked like the real deal to me.

As to my overall favorite... that's tough. It would probably be a toss up between an 'F-4 MiG-Killer' shirt that I *think* came from Blackbird or another similar outfit, and a couple'a shirts that a friend produced. One was called 'Fighter Pilots Famous Last Words'. I did some artwork for that one, and helped him come up with the list of 'famous last words'. The other was a design he borrowed from an ad for the F-16... he turned wrenches on F-4s back in the early-mid 1980s with the 4th TFW, and so, at the time he was making shirts, was partial to the 4th's F-15Es... so he substituted the Eagle for the Bic and modified the tagline; 'F-15E Strike Eagle: Air To Everything'.

I'm thinking of doing a shirt (or shirts) to promote my website, so whatever I come up with will probably be my new 'fave'... will update this if and when that happens.

Pretty neat! But doggonit, $28 and still no pockets. I could go $28 for a shirt with an Axial logo, but can't forego the pocket! Oh well, back to Goodwill and $3 plain janes for me. :?

I know, its not a cheap operation. I could drop them to $20.00 each (not including shipping) but then Id make nothing on them! As it is, Im only getting 6 or 7 dollars for each. Red Bubble takes the rest! Not a perfect setup but an alright one.

I'm not bitchin about the price, I'm bitchin about no pocket. I'd get that Axial shirt in a heartbeat ... if only it had a pocket, can't live without a pocket... :P

Very cool stuff, otherwise!
