Halifax I found in Norwegian fjord at 180 meters (link)

Fri Oct 24, 2014 2:23 pm

This appears to be a recent discovery... a Halifax thought to have been brought down during an attack on the Tirpitz has been located at a depth of 180 meters in a Norwegian fjord. She's mostly there- at least the bits that haven't rotted away, that is. :-/

There's probably enough to serve as a pattern, but boy, she's in rough shape. Still considering how incredibly rare Halifaxes are, one has to assume the Norwegians will at least consider the idea of recovery. It would be wonderful to see an early Halifax actually restored to her former glory.
