This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Back during the late 1980s and early 1990s, with the Nicaraguan conflict between the Sandinistas and the Fuerza Democratica Nicaraguense, a.k.a. The Contras, a group of U.S. pilots working for certain outfit, managed to slip a photo through the "keen" eyes of a U.S. magazine editors (Newsweek comes to mind, but not 100% sure).
The photo purportedly portrayed (tongue twister, y'all) a certain "Fairchild Unconventional C-123K . . .
Does someone here, remember such a photo? I believe that I have the magazine issua back home.
Also, with the "TG" registrations from Guatemala, I recall and have photos of:
TG-ASS a Beech T-34
And there was also a Tango Golf Foxtrot Uniform Kilo

Tulio

If I remember right the Mustang 44-63889 that is now N4034S was C-FFUZ but I remember seeing a a few photos that the Z was a C and the Can-ah-de-an goverment realised their error. We all know that the people from the east

can't possibly ever offend anyone (I live in Michigan so I go east to Canada). Now that I think about it since I did see the photos shouldn't I have recieved a letter of appology from K-bec.
I, I feel hurt and dirty right now becouse of this, to ease this feeling I just may have to call a few freinds, get a limmo, go "east" over the boarder and visit one of those places that have expensive beers and costs between $10 and $20 to listen to a song from the DJ (as if anyone there listens to the music thats just a loud timer..ding next

)
Cheers
Tony
And no i'm not going over there..my heritage is from Holland so i'm cheap
