In September 1952 a P-38 owned by Aero Service Corp and Flown by John Tagan crashed into the river at Custer, Montana killing the pilot. I have found two newspaper articles but no other records on this aircraft. Aero Service owned three other P-38's and all were used for high altitude aerial photographer in the 50's. Would appreciate any help anyone can provide.

http://milescity.com/forums/posts/view/311182/I'm sure you've seen this before anyways. Must be a list somewhere of the registration numbers of the aircraft operated by this company?
cheers
