Definitely worth a look if you are in the Charlotte, NC area. Wonderful Staff with a growing collection. There are long term plans (from what I've heard) to expand the museum eventually...

What a nice looking museum. Well lit with a very nice collection. Its very cool they temporarily have a DC-7 parked on their ramp. :D :D If I'm ever near there, I will make it a point to stop by.

That DC-7 has been on their ramp for a long time and is becoming more permanent with each passing day. I think the museum would like to see it become a permanent part of the collection...

Sorry to hear about the DC-7 - was hoping it would become the Douglas equivalent of Save-a-Connie's Star of America, especially after the huge amount of work that went into it.

Come to think of it, being grounded for engine/financial issues does make it like Star Of America :( .
