In the past myself, & our fellow contributors have posted some Christmas photos that came from the troops, here is my stuff with a special THANK YOU to all that have served, & do serve!

A McDonnell Douglas F-4B Phantom II of fighter squadron VF-111 Sundowners, Attack Carrier Air Wing Fifeteen (CVW-15), being launched from the aircraft carrier USS Coral Sea (CVA-43) on Christmas 1971 by a catapult officer dressed up as "Santa Claus". Over 1,000 sailors form a Christmas tree on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS John F. Kennedy (CV 67) as the ship operates in the Persian Gulf on Dec. 16, 1999. The Kennedy Battle Group is deployed to the Persian Gulf in support of Operation Southern Watch which is the U.S. and coalition enforcement of the no-fly-zone over Southern Iraq.

Santa Claus nose art painted on a C-130 Hercules aircraft of the 374th Airlift Wing commemorates the 40th anniversary of the Christmas air drops to islanders of the Federated States of Micronesia. Crews from the 345th and 21st Airlift Squadrons are assigned to fly the C-130 for the Christmas Drop '92 missions. Every Christmas since 1952, food, clothing, tools and toys donated by residents of Guam have been delivered by air to 40 Micronesian islands. Nose art reads "40th Anniversary 1952 - 1992."
