State of the Site as of January 2015

Thu Jan 08, 2015 3:13 pm

Hi all,

First of all I would like to say thank you for your continued support of the site, especially the dozen subscribers that help defray the operating costs. 2014 was a messed up year for me. My daughter totaled my Fiancees car. The a drunk driver hit me and messed up my car (luckily I wasn't hurt). My fiancee had major surgery in November to deal with a chronic problem, she's still out of work until next month. I've had two stays in the hospital and have spent the last 6 months on blood thinners trying to avoid a stroke/heart attack. The financial responsibilities have meant I've had to pick up a second job. This has led to less time to spend on the site. It also means that I have been utterly horrible with e-mails and IM. My new years resolution is to try and slog through the communications as soon as I can. Quite a lot has been done with the site but a lot of it is behind the scenes with code updates that will allow a more fluid path to updates. Well 90% of the code updates are done and 2015 will start out with a bunch of updates for the B-25 Registry. About two dozen are live already but I haven't spent the time to add them to the What's New list yet, but I will before the weekend is through.

Thanks for the support and if you want to support the site, go here to find out how.

Can you believe we are celebrating are 20th anniversary in 2016!

As an almost daily lurker, and sometimes poster, I deeply appreciate the site and all that goes into keeping it running. As the support page says, well worth our supporting :D

Donation on the way!
