viewtopic.php?f=3&t=33045It won Oshkosh WWII Reserve Grand Champion in 2013 - well known for being the only warbird restored with a working shotgun starter (in addition to a ton of other unique/authentic details). I noted in the latest Courtesy sales page, however, that the shotgun starter had been replaced with an electrical starter, but that the shotgun starter could be installed again if desired. I also note in the recent photo (and sales page), that the rare Curtiss-Electric prop originally fitted has been replaced with a more common Hamilton Standard unit.

BTW, I was very happy to have learned of the news of this acquisition by Fagen Fighters, which has grown over the years to become quite a premier warbird collection. It will be a great addition to what has been limited to USAAF types until now, and will be joined by the museum's Helldiver when that is completed and flying. Further reason too, to make it out to their airshow this June.
