Great bunch of guys restoring, maintaining and flying the planes, great man who owns it is putting together quite a stable of very interesting planes besides the standard stuff you see in a warbird museum. I like visiting with them and sometimes flying with them. If you're in the area, make it a point to go visit Scott and the rest of the fellows

the website is sorta vague, is it a museum that can be visited? No mention was made (at least I didnt see it) about operating hours or the address.

I was able to nail down the location...

The problem is the hangar is inside the fence. Visits must be by appointment only, but I hope to confirm. I am waiting for more details on Facebook. Can anyone help make the list of aircraft via the link above more complete? I would really appreciate ID info for the aircraft without any.

Looks like they just acquired the Evergreen TBM Avenger too. Very cool!

I was born and raised in Longview, TX and I had no clue this museum even existed just a few miles north of the hometown. Many of the acquisitions seem to have happened in just the last year or two, so it's a real up-and-comer of an organization.

A Ford Tri-Motor? The Tallmantz B-25? An A-26 and an HU-16, and now a Connie!? What an amazing surprise. Lots of big twins coming into the stable to accompany those singles.

Now if I can only talk them into giving me some dual instruction in that L-19...

Great bunch of folks, make contact ahead of time if you plan to visit from out of town to make sure someone is available to show you around. The airport staff is very friendly and helpful if you stop by are here during normal working hours and don't see anyone around the hangers (north end of hanger row.) New dedicated museum hangar is under construction and should be ready this summer. Scott is supporting this historic preservation effort through his milling company http://www.victordogfood.com/ It's like getting a prize with every bag of dog food!

This collection has been a couple years in the making. Hats off to Scott and his crew for assembling an awesome collection. A large new hangar is being built now to bring the big airplanes under cover.

If I understand correctly his crew just volunteered to help on the Connie as it is going to Bridgewater, VA. I don't beleive it is going to live Texas.
