Weekend trip, anyone want to play guess that warbird?

Mon Mar 23, 2015 7:37 pm

Went to visit my son over the weekend and stopped in a local museum. Anyone have a guess as to the aircraft? How specific can you be?
Ok, that's pretty easy, how about the museum name?

How about the museum name? If you've been there I think there are some really good clues.

That's correct! You win a pony (shipping and handling extra, some limitations apply :) ).
Really friendly volunteers there, we were treated exceptionally well. The aircraft were apart for maintenance, it was really cool to get a look inside the usually covered areas. It is a great museum to visit, they have a great amount of enthusiasm and energy. If you are in the area I believe you would really enjoy the visit.
It was nice to get into a B-25 again, been many years. I had never been up close to a top turret before, wow is that tight! My son (6'4" 240lbs) even made it to the tail gunner position. Every time I'm around one of these machines I gain more respect for the great men and women that crewed and serviced them.
