NA-50/NA-68/P-64 Internal Details

Have a new client and looking for internal details (specifically the tubular frame) for the North American NA-50/NA-68/P-64 series of aircraft. Also the Sanders Brothers CAC Boomerang replica built in the early 90's from T-6 parts.

Over the years various replicas of these aircraft have been built using an assortment of repurposed T-6 parts. I have searched and cannot find any pictures of the orginal P-64/NA-50 aircraft with the side panels removed showing the unique frame and Monoque.

The P-64 has more in common with the SNJ-2 than a Boomerang. I looked at the EAA P-64 and saw a lot of SNJ-2 parts in it, wing center section, landing gear, tail cone, tail wheel, as well as Yale parts, outer wing panels. I would say the interior would be like a SNJ-2 with minor changes.
I helped to build this one.

That's a nice looking tubular in that first pic, would be a great start to your project. It also happens to be for sale.

Carl Smeeter built one at Deer Valley Airport in Phoenix, Arizona and was flying it in the early 1990's. Don't know what happened to it. He was a local jeweler.

I had a very good friend there who had an AT-6 (Curtiss Earl) and we used to fly with some CJ-6's occasionally.

The replica built by Carl Schmieder is the camouflaged aircraft shown in Matt's post above. I believe the aircraft is now in Thailand.

I saw this one at the Tamiami museum, there is a bad picture of a picture of the AC with the side panels removed
