Boeing VC-137 "Freedom One" - "Air Force One" VIDEO

We were blessed with another awesome project. In the last 5 - 6 years or so we have polished B-17 Fuddy Duddy, B-25 Guardian of Freedom, B-29 T-square 54, and a few P-51 Mustangs.

This past Feb we did our second VC-137, "SAM971", our first being "SAM970" in Washington.

SAM971 was used only a handful of times as an Air Force One when it carried Eisenhower and Kennedy. It used the call sign "FREEDOM ONE" twice. Once when returning Americans, former hostages of Iran, in 1980 and 10 years later when it brought American POWs home from Desert Storm. Here is a short video we had made of the event that was performed at the Pima Air and Space Museum. ENJOY - https://youtu.be/wZb-5IlNUHE

Looks great! The paint really 'pops' when it is shiney clean.

The Wendover museum has a F-86L that we rescued from a pole and have been slowly working on getting in better shape. it desperately needs a good cleaning and shine up. Some how I need to just get a good group of volunteers together!
