I peaked at the Shearwater Aviation Museum's Facebook, & there's a video of the FireFly, on all 3 gear, wings folded, cowling panels off, prop looking complete, and being towed out of the hanger by a Classic small tractor, followed by an engine run up. I just want to make sure, if this is the latest news IF Indeed it has been repaired after the accident, or ...an older video ? Just want to double check. If this IS proof of the FireFly being repaired , than Fantastic ! Sure hope so!

If it's the video named "Firefly engine run - July 28th", then it's an old video from 2010.

When I saw it a little over a year ago it was clear the damage was not minor. I was not allowed to take pictures. I was also told that it would not be a flyer even once it was repaired.

Unfortunately it was badly damaged during taxying trials and never flew, a tremendous shame considering the amount of work that went into it.

Here are few shots of one of the run ups in August 2013, prior to the incident that damaged it.

Such a shame that a perfectly airworthy aircraft was wrecked thanks to the Museum's piss-poor decision-making process.

There were perfectly qualified and experienced FireFly pilots to test fly the airplane at CWH
