I think the one that appears to be in the scrapyard, might actually be at the Rechlin Luftwaffe Test Center, due to the Yellow belly on the aircraft in the foreground and the other color appear to be Luftwaffe test colors.

I love obscure aircraft. the Italians had some great aircraft that are most interesting.

They did have their run of interesting prototypes. Under a different regime, they could have been a more serious component of the Allied vs Axis air supremacy battle during WW2.

Well said. The technological innovations and achievements ( MC.72 - Balbo transcontinental flights, etc) of the first 35 years of the 19th century were wasted in 10 years due to a war were we had no place in it. And the dictator who drive Italy to disgrace.
