Not nearly as clear a photo as the P-38, but one of my favorites. Taken at Camp Shelby back in 1985 it gives a look at the business end of the A-10. We were on a hilltop and told the A-10 drivers we had a camera - after a mirror flash to let them know where we were this was the view we got. Note #2 rolling in behind lead....

I remember seeing the same thing at Ft. Riley KS back about 1984. Delaware? ANG (kinda foggy memory, but recall NAIL callsign)
They did the same thing for us, and we all did our best dying for the emperor falls. FO said there were chuckles on the radio. Before departing they came back for one more pass and I swear the grass flattened on the last pass as he was below the tree line.
