Help Locating WW2 NewsReel!!

Mon Nov 28, 2005 6:55 pm

Help from Wixer WW2 Aviation Historian and Archivists!!! I've been trying to locate Newsreel footage with my dad in it, from the Pacific on 31 May 1943. A depiction of six fighter pilots gathering around the front of a P-38 in New Guinea, accounting for 36 Japaneese aircraft shot down! I have the 8 X 10 group photo from the Newsreel with the number (WX15-May 31) a short story and a list of name's. About a year or so ago I was watching a Medal of Honor Documentary of WW2 Pacific Pilot's with a story of Bong and there it was! I've be searching every since. Can anyone help me find this or tell me where I can go? Thank You! :?:
