Help needed to ID parts- B-24? B-17?

Thu Sep 24, 2015 9:46 am

Hello all,
I am working on a project, and a local museum allowed us into their storage room. In there were the following items. Can you help me identify them? I think I know what they are, but would like verification from experts. Any identification help is appreciated. Thanks!

It's a propeller! (I know, I know...but from what???)

Seat- I know that the seat has sitting in it a control wheel from a B-24 and and oxygen tank. But what did the seat come from?

And these are the pieces that I'm most curious about. They are leaning up on their ends, and are about 7-8 feet tall. I got the best photos I could of them, but they are difficult to get to. Here are several photos:

Smaller, shorter piece:

Thanks!

All the parts are B-24. The tall wing-looking pieces are sections of wing flaps. That's a nose tire from the B-24, a 36 inch tire.

Thanks b29flteng. If anyone else has any opposing opinions I'd appreciate knowing now. Otherwise I will take his word as gospel...
