Fiberglas Corsair photos needed

I could use some help:
Does anybody out there have any good photos of Tallichet's Fiberglas, full- sized, Corsairs on display? This is one of the first steps to getting the one off the pole in Stratford, CT. Also, any thoughts as to how they look in person and how they are holding up under outside weather and display conditions?

Here's a pic. I took earlier this year. I thought the Mustang and
Corsair (in particular) were fairly convincing. Displaying these
fiberglass replicas gear-up really helps, as some other types that
were displayed out back behind the restaurant were setting on their
fiberglass "gear", and the detail just wasn't there (makes for a
dead-giveaway that the aircraft are not real).

Man, that's the spitting image of David O'Maley's FG-1D.

Just over the river in Windsor Ontario the Canadians had a Lancaster mounted on a pedestal in Jackson park. The Lanc (FM212) was taken down and replaced with fiberglass replicas of a spitfire and a hurricane. Just this last month the Hurricane was blown off it's pedistal by high winds and damaged on it's return to earth.

Cool... A "flying" fiberglass Hurricane replica! :lol:

That corsair is mounted at the 94th Aero Squadron restaurant in College Park MD.

FYI to all you WIXers in general, if you pass through College Park, check this restuarant out! It also has a fiberglass Bf-109, P-47, P-51, and "AVG" P-40. Plus, it's located on the College Park airport premises - and is literally right next door to the College Park air museum.

They look pretty convincing.
I heard there is one at Tallicet's rest. on Long Island. Does anybody know if that's correct? I might like to fly over and see one in person!

One of Tallichet's guys told me that the P-47 would sell for about $100k because of the detail required for the engine. A P-40 or P-51 is significantly less expensive to make.

Kind of an inside joke Bela.

The O'Maley Corsair was the one Mr. Tallichet's team used to pull the molds for making these replicas.

A question for the Board:

(1) Is David Talichet and company the only source for fiberglass warbirds?

(2) Was there a limted production run, or can you still buy them new?

(3) Have there been any multi-engine fiberglass warbirds produced?

There is also the B-24 that Tallichet did in fiberglass.

There was a guy making Spitfires in the UK, and there are various fiberglass Spits and Hurricanes on display around the UK. West-Pac made a glass P-51 for Jeff Clyman's store years ago. They may still have the molds, but probably not enough time to make any more. Also, some of the Tora Tora Tora P-40s were glass.

Kernal, what A-26 at Chino? Is there a glass one there, or the A-26 was used to make the mold?

Tallichet's B-24 replica, is that the one now at Lackland AFB,Texas?

Lackland's B-24 looks like its windows are painted on. That goes for a lot of their planes - including a B-17. Anyone know if they're fiberglass?
