T-28D Nomad

Thu Dec 01, 2005 6:52 pm

We have a new T-28D in town that is a flyer and need help finding the underwing stores that go with this aircraft. Does anyone know where to find the 50 caliber minigun pods ? I think it also had Aero 14 bomb racks and we also would like to find the pilot's armament panel. Many of the original "goodies" are no longer in the aircraft.
Thanks!

Try C&J at 800-828-3597.

I don’t see anything in my printed catalog here, but it’s a couple of years old.

Thanks everyone for the good head start.
Eric, I will give the folks at C&J a call and see what they have. Jack do you have a business number of the Steve Householder at Hillsboro? We have been talking to the guys on the Aero 14 racks and they were helpful. I saw a set of replica minigun pods made out of fibreglas years ago. Someone must be making these.
If anyone helps us get a good lead on the minigun pods, I would be willing to get them a flight in the T-28D! If they're interested of course.
Thanks!

When you call C&J ask for Mr.Chuck Smith and tell him that we are ol pals.Chuck is a great guy and really has or knows where to find any T-28 goodies.Tell him you know Tim Romero,if that gets an awkward pause ,throw in "He used to work for Rod at F.A.I".,throw in Reno and he should flash. He has a first rate operation, second to none. Tim.
