Does anyone know what happened (if anything) to Geoff Yates' static Mustang project which was in Cooma, NSW?
He had collected quite a lot of stuff including original longerons etc, but I heard that he wasn't continuing with it & I subsequently saw it advertised for AU$60k on eBay quite awhile ago?
Just wondering if anyone actually knows what became of it all?

last time I spoke to jeff he had moved North to Sunny Qld and had sold his Mustang. I'm sorry I can't tell you who too or for how much but I know it has definately gone from his possession.

Geoff's Mustang project was sold to a guy from England and I believe that it made it over to that country, although can't confirm this. It was subsequently offered for sale once again after a short period of time and should now be in residence in America, with a museum that plans to restore it to static display.
