Low power formation in Florida?

Thu Dec 03, 2015 7:51 am

Hey All
I am looking for some formation partners in Central/South Florida. I have a T 41A which is of course just a 172 with a paint job, but with the lack of military flyovers at funerals for vets, I was hoping to work with the American Legion and the VFW and see if there were not enough local airplanes painted in military colors to fly some sort of flyover event to include a missing man.
I know that is a LOT of coordination and would probably need about 8 members to get 4 on any given day, but that is my goal. Is anyone already doing this? Are there any formation clinics around so I can practice? Are there EAA formation standards?
Thanks
Tom
