A "Wolf in the Woods" ...

Sun Jan 10, 2016 2:36 pm

Saw these on a facebook page the other day. I believe these photos were take somewhere in France c 1945. A couple of responses so far on other sites.
- "This Fw190 appears to be an A-8 variant, and judging by the camouflage on the power egg is most likely a Fieseler-built airframe from the range of 680xxx to 683xxx Werk numbers."
- "Fw190A-8, BMW-801 Radial"
- "This aircraft has been disassembled and hidden in the woods. There are no prop blades at all, no damage resulting from a crash."

Could be taken at a "Waldwerke", that would be my 2 cents.

Some A-hole went into my photobucket account and deleted a bunch of photos. I have to go lock all the albums now.
