B-50 LuckY Lady II

Sun Dec 11, 2005 8:57 am

Found this link to some decent pictures of the fuselage of Lucky Lady II.

Does anyone know if this is the complete original fuselage or is it a hybrid of parts? What was the story of the accident that resulted in the fuselage being salvaged? Thanks!

Not abandoned, not derelict, and certainly not forgotten! It is no longer in the location pictured.

A few years ago it had been moved over the the Jet Museum side and was displayed outside with the other jet aircraft.

Isn't she slated for a set of wings soon from a scrapped C97?
