Any idea what this seat is from?

Hi all

One mystery item from the aerojumble on the weekend was this seat. No numbers readily visible, but it had everyone stumped, other than it has US hardware, and has little mounts on the back for attaching something like a fabric cover perhaps. I need to get back and have a good look at it again, but thought someone on here may recognise it at once - the fact that the seat has the indent on the right hand side is what threw us.

Whatever it is, has a tubing fuselage and most likely has asymmetric seating for where this one goes. Possibly something with a control column due to the cutout on the ride side of the seat bottom. Structural design looks to be Brit rather than US.

Thanks CV - We initially thought UK but the hardware is all US. I need to go back and grab more detailed pics as its one that we simply cannot readily identify among us
