Sooo...care to elaborate on the "Carburetor Heat" mentioned in your title? Neither link makes any mention of it.

Agree. Power loss was on departure from an arid airport at high altitude where it was warm (high Density Altitude), so not sure how you get to carb icing from anything reported.
