Lancaster Bomber KB882 Not Heading to Edmonton

I was afraid this was the way it was heading, let's hope something will come forward. Hopefully it can at least stay in the Maritimes.

The City of Edmundston should be advisd that the investment of a few hundred dollars a year of Corrosion X will substantially reduce the deterioration of the airframe stucture. The stuff works and I have no connection other than as an end user.

I find it hard to believe that no-one wants a complete lancaster. Surely there must be some way to at least dismantle and store it. Alberta's economy has been decimated by the drop in oil prices and the fort mac fires, so its not really a surprise that there isn't any money around right now. Somebody's gotta want it ?!?
