Grimes Field Military Appreciation Day

Mon Jun 13, 2016 12:21 pm

Went down to Grimes Field in Urbana, Ohio for their Military Appreciation Day event this past Saturday. No airshow, but there was a lot of flying. Also was a great excuse to check out the Champaign Aviation Museum and the B-17. I really want to thank the volunteer who spent about a half hour showing me around the B-17 project.

Below are some photos. If there's anything anyone wants to see more of, let me know and I'll see what I have.

Looks like a fun event...lots of great looking aircraft.

I agree, the Champaign Lady crew is very welcoming...one of the friendliest aviation attractions I've visited.
