Skyraider stencil question

I'm familiar with the publication cartoon that shows the tech order camo scheme for a USAF Skyraider but is there a pub that details all of the stencils, wording, & location? Specifically thinking USAF A-1H/J circa 1968.

This may be one for the modeling crowd if anyone here has any contacts ...

I have an older TO 1-1-4 but it only has the camo pattern, it doesn't have the detail information for A-1 that it has for most of the other airplanes in the inventory.

Come to think of it, I don't recall seeing a whole lot of airframe stencils on USAF A-1s, either the gray ones or the camo ones. Usually just the ESCAPE arrows, and the Armament block (if that).

I agree, the USAF TO doesn't have any.

But, it seems that pre-70s aircraft didn't have much in the way of stencils.
Compare a B-17 or 29 which had few to an F-4....they were covered with them.

Sure, the A-1's were no match for the number of stencils found on an F-4, but they had several. What series of pubs would have set the standard?

Ken, I don't even recall seeing all that many (if any) stencils on GSB -5 and -6 USN/USMC Skyraiders, or -5, -6/-7 USN/USMC Raiders in Gull Gray/White.

Please don't take this as me being difficult, but there has to be guidance out there for markings even if the stencil count is low. It's a matter of finding the right person with the right knowledge & sources. This is important for what may be an historic project and I genuinely want to see it done right.

After three days in Dayton, I confirmed that the AF did not retain any of the painting and marking info for any A-1 variant. They tell me their source for any future projects will be the Smithsonian - and they say they don't have it either.

I just discovered that the Zoukei-Mura SWS Series 1/32 A-1J Skyraider model comes with extensive service stencils and placement instructions. At first glance, these seem to be promising, particularly for the gun bay doors, etc. The only issue is that there are no legible scans online.
