B-17 Fuddy Duddy SOLD!!!!!

I just checked out Courtesy Aircraft's website and it says that Fuddy Duddy is SOLD!. Does anyone know who bought or sponsored the aircraft as that was what it says on its description.

To back up what Rob states, this is the info I have received about the sale and it looks like NY State will be heavily involved in this sale. To sum up the letter I received from the Director of New York State Museum.
It will require major action on the part of The Wings of Eagles, the museum would be required to change it mission statement in accordance with the Board of Regents of NYS. That is to justify the sale of the museum's major asset (being the B-17). It also states that the museum would need prior court approval for the sale, as stated by Not-for-profit law. It also states that those funds from the sale have strings attached to them and how they can be spent.
I assume now that “The Wings of Eagles” have an interested party to buy “Fuddy Duddy”, they would be in a position to start these actions.
I would really hate to see Fuddy Duddy leave New York, while I hope this doesn’t happen I also would hate to see it rot in Elmira because the museum can’t afford to keep it in the air. I feel a catch 22 about this whole thing (as a tax paying NYS resident and a member of the 1941 HAG)

It already has happened. The airplane is already with its new owner on the west coast.

I did not know that the New York Goverment could move that fast. Several months for them is FAST!
Will it be kept airworthy?
Could it be going to Yanks at Chino? Just a wild guess but They have a lot os aircraft and no B-17.

Do tell if you can!! It seems that a B-17 traveling West would be a hard A/C for pilots and warbird people to miss.

Just got off the phone with a contact in Santa Ana and he just left John Wayne Airport (KSNA) and took a look at Fuddy Duddy at Martin Aviation there. It is verified. General Lyons bought the aircraft and all contracts have been signed and money exchanged. Looks like a done deal folks and Fuddy will be a sister to his B-25 and A-26 based there.

Display of ignorance - who is general Lyons?? And does his A-26 and B-25 fly often or at all? ( I note that the B-25 is "Guardian of Freedom" and the A-26 is "Feeding Frenzy")
