Lancaster G-George

a few years ago I was on a port call to Perth...wandered into a local museum and was offered a personal tour of G-George! These are the only surviving photos of that event, the others were lost during one PCS move or another.

WEll, okay, guess I don't have the hang of posting photos...

The Lanc pics are the last three on my web page..

Great pictures to share!

A point of identification however; "G-George" (a wartime service Lanc) is in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, in the East. http://www.warbirdregistry.org/lancregi ... w4783.html

You saw NX622 at Bull Creek: http://www.warbirdregistry.org/lancregi ... nx622.html

Perth and Canberra are about 2,000 miles (3,000km) apart - a bit more than a stroll from Perth!
