I'll get on that as soon as you stop calling SBDs "SDB"s.

I think that may have come from Frank Capra's War Comes to America entry in the Why we fight film series.
The War Dept. Helped with re-enactments and some of the Pearl Harbor film has been used ever since in lieu of the real thing.

I really need a proof reader, or learn to at least read what I type, or wear my glasses. I know they are SBDs, thanks for the great comments! Now I will go to my room and hide.

Naw....no need to hide, it's all good. It's nice to see a little humor around here. Sometimes it gets a little stuffy here.

Honestly shocked to read that the History Channel was showing something that actually involves history for a change.

You jest OD, but years ago I ran across the eyewitness account of a teenager at Pearl Harbor who described the attacks
of the stukas. Apparently any single engine aircraft performing a dive bombing attack was a stuka. We were probably spared
mass reports of Japanese Stuka's at Pearl by some wise reporter who talked to the kid and noted, "Naw kid those red meatballs
painted on the planes you saw tells ya them wuz Zeros!"

I have a stateside newspaper from December 8th with an article mentioning the Japanese attacking with four-engined bombers, so there was definitely some confusion in the first few days.
