Spitfire wreck found in Australia

Down Under Aviation News reporter Mike ONeill from Darwin, Australia has passed this interesting news story on to me

I'm assuming 'known', judging by the "re-discovered" note in the caption.

Yes thanks regarding the re-discovered gen, I noticed that when I enlarged the newspaper picture, also over on the Flypast historic forum I was informed that it is listed in the appendix of Spitfire Survivors vol 2.
