P-38 in NJ

Anyone know what the status is of the P38 at Joint Base McGuire in New Jersey? Is it on display someplace else on the base now after being removed from its pedestal in 2015?

I read elsewhere that it's moving inside a base hangar. Hooray for McGuire AFB if they are making this decision to get it inside. The same should be done for all the gate guardians or replace with fiberglass replicas.

Yes, a very good move on their part. The P-38 up in Alaska should also be moved inside someplace.
