Meanwhile back in North Korea ...

... we had the ever so anticipated Flying highlights of the First Air Show in North Korea held at Kalma Airport at Wonsan on September 24-25, 2016 ...

A riveting display of North Korean air power and flying skills was had by both NK citizens and invited foreign guests.

.... One of the special invited guest appearances this year was to be the Iranian Air Forces heritage flight, but sadly the IIAF was down to only one semi-operable F-86 so they decided to sit this one out. :(

Some pilot in a MiG-21 had a slight tail strike while landing; may he rest in peace after the government gets through with him...

Saw the same. How sadly ironic that Kim's favorite method is anti-aircraft guns.

Wow! I think it's cool that they have Vintage Warbird shows as well! Nice! :roll:

I also watched some of their news footage covering the show and they showed a female pilot getting into the Mig 21. Just saying. :axe:
