SNJ on Midway

My wife had a Great Uncle in the Marines stationed on Midway late war (44/45?). I think he was assigned to an AA crew. I'm guessing these pics were taken on Midway. Looks like SNJ-6 BuNo 112028.

That's weird. No idea who the seller is in Montana.
Uncle Calvin was from Western PA., passed away last May. One photo has "29 Foust" written on the back. (Foust being his last name.) There were a couple of Corsair pics in the bunch as well, where you can see the square inlet port of Midway in the background. The SNJ pics with the white sand beach looks more like Midway than Okinawa.
