Hi All,

Interesting collection of parts. The cowls look right for B-24's and the photo of the fwd fuselage could be a beginning for another ""complete" B-24....

Promising project ?? If you have the resources I guess

That forward section appears to be two different PB4Ys.

Hmmm I wonder if the folks down at the Lone Star Flight Museum that are rebuilding the PB4Y have seen this.

Cool, but good grief - to get this into a semi static state would cost a arm and a leg. I assume a lot parts were pulled of this one to help rebuild the Hill AFB museum B-24D.

Are you refering to the LB-30 recovered out of Alsaka?

Woudn't be better to keep that airframe together than to part it to another part airtframe? I love to see a few more B-24 around, even if they were only static. Flying would be a lot better but...

I am referring to the LB-30 out of Alaska. It has been several years since I got a close look at it, but as I remember the fuselage was was in several pieces that looked like they were cut with a chain saw, or pulled apart with chains. I remember the wing being pretty much intact though. From the looks of the fuselage in the ad, it looks almost ready to fly compared to the other one.
