Mustang Down in Europe?

I just saw on facebook that what looks like a well know Mustang is down Europe. Anybody have any details. RIP on the pax...

I assume you are referring to Maurice Hammond's "Janie". Accident was a week and a half ago and was previously discussed.

Thank you Chad, yes, I couldn't find any intel on it. I just had back surgery and have been behind on catching up with the rest of the world...

No offense to you Lynn and this isn't directed to you -that POS FB post wins the Internet for stupidity and causing a lot of scare today. Thankfully it was deleted!

This is the article in question, originally the main image was of the Collings Foundation P-51 "Betty Jane" which is what caused all the confusion and fear another incident had taken place. I would say the real culprits are "War History Online" which seems to have a knack for regurgitating old news as a way of getting attention driven to their website.
