It's in a thread about lottery winnings,

I have the impression he said 5.5 for the D-13. I probably misread it.
Hmmmmm, and all of this time I've been saving unused beer money for Jim Pierces E1/7, the other Red Seven.
I think I read somewhere that Mr Champlin said that the D-13 will never fly. If it's for sale...aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa(going into daydream coma now)aaaaaaaaa

The D-13 was for sale, Seattle have it on loan but are supposedly raising money to buy and keep it there..haven't heard anything different since to say otherwise.

Did the Fw 200 remains or Fw 190 get recovered yet?
I'm referring to the ones in the last CW.

Not yet. 190 is awaiting a Norwegian Navy salvage ship to get on site.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm,
I thought I read somewhere, within the past few years, that this airframe was being restored to flight worthy status again, and that it was possible she would take to the air once more. Could I have been that wrong in what i read ??

The 190D was supposedly restored to completely airworthy status, with many components that were missing from the original restoration added. However, in speaking with the guys at Gosshawk, word was that Champlin stated that it would never fly as long as he owned the airplane.
