Are any Curtiss SOC3 Seamews complete or partial known to exist today?

Believed extinct.

Not surprising, no-one liked it and it wasn't much use....

Yep... they are all gone as far as I know. With respect to parts, I have a couple of fuel gauges for the SOC-3, so I guess there's a little bit left.

Cheers,

..of course being Navy-sites makes it unpalatable for anyone wishing to
recover the remains...given that there are desirable remains.

i have a number of original ww 2 silhhouette i.d. posters of the sea mew if your interested & like the type. 20 bucks each, in great shape too. i have other aircaft types as well. i personally liked the lines of the sea mew, good looking..... even though the type was a real turkey operationally.

I noticed, while googling, that it was mentioned that the remainder of the Seamew Fleet were equiped to be radio controlled target drones. Anyone have any idea where these target exercises would have taken place? Out at sea or on land at a target range or both?
